This Ninja Creami peach ice cream is a must-try for frozen dessert lovers in search of a supremely indulgent, healthier treat. Full of bold peach flavor and natural sweetness from honey, every bite is rich, creamy, and satisfying with less fat and sugar than than store-bought versions.

Plus, it’s so easy to make! Just blend, freeze, and let the Ninja Creami Machine handle the rest. And the fun doesn’t stop at peach. You can use the same process to whip up strawberry, vanilla, or even Ninja Creami Chocolate Ice Cream. You’ll have to try my Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream too- it’s a fan favorite.

Peach Ice Cream Made Easy with the Ninja Creami

Looking for an excuse to whip out your Ninja Creami and indulge a little? Here’s why you need to make this peach ice cream (like now!):

  • Big peach flavor. I went heavy on the peaches here, and I SO don’t regret it. The flavor comes through loud and clear. Perfect for summertime.
  • Lightened up but still delish. This ice cream is as rich and creamy as its premium, store-bought counterparts, with less sugar and fat. Sweetened naturally with peaches and a hint of honey, it’s a healthier treat that doesn’t sacrifice flavor or texture.
  • Super easy. Just blend your ingredients, freeze the mixture, and let the Ninja Creami work its magic. You’ll only need to put in 10 minutes (if that) of active time, and the rest is history.

What You’ll Need

This Ninja Creami peach ice cream only requires five simple ingredients, and here they are. Have a look at the recipe card below for precise measurements.

  • Fresh peaches (sliced) – White or yellow peaches (or even nectarines) will work great. Regardless, make sure they’re ripe so that your ice cream is sweet enough. If it isn’t peach season, you can use frozen peaches too.
  • 2% milk – Want a richer ice cream? Go for whole milk. While you could do half and half (or even heavy cream), I find it doesn’t need it! The pudding mix does a good job of thickening everything up and adding richness.
  • Vanilla instant pudding mix – “Instant” is the keyword here. Non-instant pudding mixes (the kind you have to cook) won’t work.
  • Lemon juice – You can leave the lemon juice out if you’d like (especially if your peaches are a little on the tart side), but I like the extra tang it delivers.
  • Honey – Or maple syrup. This is optional and depends on your preference for sweetness. I find that some peaches are plenty sweet, and you don’t need the extra oomph. Others are on the tart side, and the honey saves the day.

Variation Ideas

Want to make this ice cream your own? Have some fun with these variations:

  • Try a different fruit. This recipe will work well with most stone fruits. Try it with apricots, plums, or even cherries!
  • Add a hint of cinnamon. I’m a big fan of the cinnamon-peach combo. Add a dash of cinnamon to the blender if you know what I’m talking about.
  • Play with instant pudding. Vanilla is the classic choice here, but don’t be afraid to experiment. White chocolate, cheesecake or banana instant pudding mix would be great!
  • Make it high protein. Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a quick protein boost.
  • Fun with mix-ins. If you’d like a little texture in your ice cream, add some chopped walnuts, white chocolate chips, or another mix-in of your choice. How? Just make a well in the ice cream (after respinning), fill it with your chosen mix-in, and run it on mix-in mode.

Tips for Success

Want to set yourself up to make the best ice cream possible? Pay attention to these tips and tricks:

  • Pick your peaches wisely. The peaches are the star players in this ice cream, so it’s important to grab fruit that is plenty ripe and sweet. While you can add extra honey, I prefer it when much of the sweetness comes from the fruit itself.
  • Peel, please. You really do want to peel your peaches before you toss them in the blender. It gives the ice cream it’s creamy texture.
  • No ingredient left behind. Don’t forget to pause to scrape down the sides of the blender (and the Ninja Creami) here and there to ensure all of the ingredients are incorporated and the texture is consistent.
  • Taste test. Before transferring the contents of the blender to the Creami pint for freezing, taste your masterpiece. If it’s not quite sweet enough for you, add an extra teaspoon of honey. Blend, taste, and repeat as needed.
  • Don’t skimp on freezing time. Before running your to-be ice cream through the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker, it needs 24 hours in the freezer. No less. Skimping on this time will result in runny ice cream.
  • Adjust consistency. If the ice cream is crumbly after running it through respin mode, add a splash of milk (a tiny one) and respin again. Repeat as needed.

Proper Storage

Made more than you can eat? No problem! Seal the leftovers in your Ninja Creami pint container (lid on). Otherwise, scoop the ice cream into a freezer-safe airtight container. Either way, you can store extras in the freezer for up to 1 week.

Let the ice cream soften at room temperature for ~5 minutes or so before serving.

Equipment

  • 1 Ninja Creami Machine
  • 1 Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sliced peaches, skin peeled
  • ¾ cup 2% milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • *optional 1-2 tsp honey/syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender, blend on high for about 1 minute, stopping once to scrape down sides. I recommend taste testing at this step to make sure that your mixture is sweet enough for you. If needed, add a teaspoon of additional sweetener like table sugar, honey, or syrup.
  • Pour into the Ninja Creami pint container, cover and freeze for 24 hours on a level surface.
  • Run lite ice cream mode x1. Scrape down the sides of the pint container with a spoon.
  • Run respin mode x2, check the consistency. If the mixture is still crumbly at this point add a very small splash of milk and spin a final time.

Notes

Make sure your peaches are ripe! They should have a slight give when pressed and smell sweet. Peaches that aren’t ripe enough are much tarter and won’t give a sweet enough ice cream.
Before freezing, test taste your peach mixture to make sure it’s sweet enough. If it needs it, add 1 tsp at a time of honey or maple syrup.
