This 3-ingredient Ninja Creami mango sorbet is a thick, creamy frozen treat made with fresh mango, lime juice, and no added sugar. It’s naturally sweet, refreshing, and with just 5 minutes of prep, you’ll love how easy this sweet treat is to make on hot summer days.

Like my Ninja Creami Banana Ice Cream and Ninja Creami Peach Ice Cream, this Ninja Creami mango sorbet is so smooth and rich! It tastes like a summer hot day in every spoonful. Try my Ninja Creami Lemon Sorbet, too, or pair it with a scoop of my Dole Whip Ninja Creami recipe for an extra tropical treat. This Mango Sorbet Is Peak Summer Vibes
This Ninja Creami mango sorbet is thick, smooth, and creamy with bright tropical mango flavor. It’s fruit forward and refreshing like a classic sorbet, but the Ninja Creami gives it a softer, scoopable texture that feels almost like mango soft serve.
Here is why you’ll love it:
- Naturally sweetened. Unlike other recipes and ice cream with tons of sugar or corn syrup, this homemade sorbet is sweetened just with fresh fruit and a little optional honey.
- SO easy. Chop up a couple of mangoes, pop them in the machine, and you’ll be well on your way to a creamy frozen treat with hardly any effort. The Ninja Creami ice cream maker is one of my favorite kitchen tools because it magically transforms fruit into sorbet and ice cream with just a push of a button.
- Lots of fruit flavor. Plenty of mangos spiked with a little sweet-tart lime juice ensure that each bite is packed with fresh, juicy flavor. It’s also a great dairy-free dessert option. You could even top this with my blackberry chia jam or raspberry chia jam.
Recipe Ingredients

Here’s a look at the super simple ingredients that go into this easy sorbet. Make sure to check the recipe card at the end of this post for the full ingredient amounts.
- Ripe mango: I love using fresh mangoes for the best flavor. Make sure that the mango is ripe—it will be lightly red or rosy and will give a little when pressed and should smell sweet. You could also use canned or frozen mango chunks. If using frozen mango, thaw it slightly and blend with enough liquid to create a smooth base before freezing in the Ninja Creami pint.
- Water: Water is the key to helping sorbet achieve its creamy texture- you could even use with coconut water for a real tropical delight.
- Lime juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice is best here for the freshest flavor and goes perfectly with the sweetness of the mango! You can also use lemon juice or even orange juice.
- Honey: If you want more than the natural sweetness of mango, you can add a teaspoon or 2 of honey to taste. You could also add an alternative sweetener like monk fruit sweetener.
Can I Use Canned Mango? Will Different Kinds of Fruit Work?
You can use canned mango to make this sorbet, but if you do so, I recommend using fruit packed in water rather than in juice. I’ll also use this method with other fruit, such as strawberries, blueberries or mixed berries, bananas, or pineapple.

How to Make Mango Sorbet in Your Ninja Creami
A few steps are all you’ll need to make this deliciously refreshing treat! Here’s a look at how to do it, with the detailed instructions included in the recipe card lower down.

1. Add your ingredients: Place all of the ingredients in a blender.

2. Blend: Process the ingredients until smooth.

3. Add to pint container: Add mango mixture to the Ninja Creami pint container and place storage lid on.

4. Freeze: Freeze for at least 24 hours. Ninja Creami prep tip: Make sure it’s on a level surface in your freezer.

5. Sorbet mode: Press the sorbet button and run sorbet mode x1.

6. Use respin mode: Run re-spin cycle x1.
How to Store Sorbet
You can store homemade mango sorbet right in the Ninja Creami pint container with the lid on or transfer it to an airtight container and keep it in the freezer for up to 1 week.

Tips and Variation Ideas
- Make sure your mango is ripe. For the sweetest flavor and smoothest texture, make sure to use ripe mangos. When my fruit is really ripe, I don’t need to add the honey, it’s sweet enough!
- Turn into smoothie bowls. Top with fresh fruit like sliced strawberries, pineapple and even a dollop of Greek yogurt for an easy smoothie bowl.
- Use frozen mango. You can absolutely use frozen fruit to make mango sorbet! A couple of bonuses are that you won’t have to worry about whether the fruit is ripe (frozen fruit is packed at the peak of ripeness), and the sorbet can be eaten as soon as it’s made.
- Combine with other fruit. Make a tropical sorbet with 1 cup of mango chunks and 1 cup of pineapple chunks. Or, make it a blueberry-mango sorbet by adding a 1/2 cup of blueberries to the mango.
- Make it creamier. Add a splash of coconut milk to the Ninja Creami for a little creamy sweetness.
- Try maple syrup. For a vegan version of this recipe, swap maple syrup or agave for the honey.

- Blend completely: Make sure the mixture is blended completely before freezing.

- Crumbly sorbet: If the sorbet looks crumbly after the first spin, add a small splash of liquid and respin.
- Best served immediately. Serve right after spinning for the best creamy texture.
