Why you’ll love this

These cilantro lime shrimp lettuce wraps are one of my all time favorite easy meals, and that’s saying something!

They’re quick, they’re easy, and they’re absolutely delicious. Garlic, cilantro, and lime- is there a better flavor combination?

Shrimp works so well in these wraps because they pair so well with the flavors and they cook way quicker than most proteins. This easy shrimp recipe is perfect when you only have a little time and need a quick lunch!

With 32g of protein per wrap, it’s a great option to reach for when you want a fast high-protein lunch or dinner.

I created my Creamy Garlic Cilantro Sauce specifically for these shrimp wraps but you can also use hot sauce or even a drizzle of your favorite ranch dressing (or my Buffalo Ranch Sauce!).

This cilantro lime shrimp recipe is also perfect for turning into a rice bowl or served on top of a salad, too. You can even serve them shrimp taco-style on a soft or hard taco shell.

Let’s get into what you need to make these flavor-packed shrimp wraps.

Ingredients

  • Shrimp: You’ll need peeled and deveined raw shrimp with the tails off.
  • Garlic: Lots of fresh cloves garlic! Use this garlic grater to make your life easier in the kitchen.
  • Olive oil: I like to use extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil best.
  • Spices: Cumin, salt and pepper. You can also use garlic powder if you don’t have fresh garlic or want extra garlic flavor.
  • Lime juice: Use a citrus squeezer to make your life easier. This is a major kitchen staple! You could also use lemon juice.
  • Cilantro: Fresh cilantro adds a ton of fresh herby flavor to these wraps and pairs so well with the lime and garlic.
  • Green onion: Sliced green onion adds the perfect amount of mild onion flavor and texture to these shrimp wraps.
  • Romaine lettuce: For the “wrap”, I like to use large pieces of romaine lettuce. Butter lettuce or Boston Bibb lettuce works great here, too. You just need any lettuce that you can wrap the shrimp up in! If you need a low-carb option, lettuce wraps are great (or if you just like the crunch!).
  • Flour tortillas (optional): You can also use a flour tortilla to wrap these up, too! These Mission Carb Balance Tortillas are my favorite because they’re packed with fiber, too.
  • Creamy Cilantro Garlic Sauce: This creamy cilantro garlic sauce is creamy, zesty, and the perfect addition to these shrimp wraps. It only takes a few minutes to whip up, and it’s so worth it!
