Recipe variations and FAQ

Can I use regular honey?

If youโ€™re not a fan of spicy flavors you can definitely use regular honey or maple syrup. If you want it to be a little less spicy, you can also use regular honey and then add as much red pepper flakes, chili powder or hot sauce to meet the heat level you prefer!

Can I use baby carrots?

I prefer to use whole carrots and then slice them, but you can use any type of carrots you want. If you use baby carrots, you may need to adjust your cooking time to be slightly longer. Check for doneness by making sure the carrots are easily pierced with a fork.

What should I serve these carrots with?
