For full recipe instructions and complete list of ingredients, scroll down to the recipe card at the bottom of this page.

  • Feta Cheese: The briny, tangy flavor of feta gives this dip its signature flavor.
  • Greek Yogurt: I recommend full fat. Greek yogurt helps give this dip it’s smooth consistency and adds protein too!
  • Pumpkin Puree: Canned pumpkin puree give this delicious dip a beautiful orange color, antioxidants and fiber.
  • Garlic: Garlic adds lots of savory flavor to tie everything together.
  • Honey: Honey adds a touch of sweetness to balance the salty flavor of the feta. Maple syrup works too!
  • Salt: Just a pinch!
  • For serving: Olive oil or extra honey for drizzling, fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped walnuts or pecans, crostini, pita chips, warm pita or your favorite crackers. Check out “Variation + Topping Ideas” for more ideas!

Variation + Topping Ideas

This pumpkin feta dip is so good on its own, but it’s even better with toppings. Here are my favorite combinations:

  • Nuts and seeds. A drizzle of olive oil with pumpkin seeds and chopped walnuts.
  • Classic. A drizzle of olive oil, fresh rosemary, and fresh thyme.
  • Sweet and spicy. A drizzle of hot honey and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Fruity and festive. Honey, fresh rosemary and pomegranate seeds.
  • Swap the cheese. Make it with goat cheese or ricotta cheese instead!
  • Beautiful bites. Instead of serving as a dip, top individual crostini with 1 tbsp dip, a walnut half, drop of honey and sprig of thyme.

JAMIE’S TipS

Tips for Success

  • Don’t skip the garnish! This dip is even prettier and more delicious with toppings. Go with olive oil and fresh herbs or check out “Variation + Topping Ideas” for some suggestions.
  • Mince your garlic. Even though everything gets blended, you still want to make sure you mince or microplane your garlic just in case. No one wants a giant piece of fresh garlic in their dip!
  • Serve with hearty crackers. This dip goes best with crostini or a hearty dipper like pita chips or bagel chips. It’s also great with warm naan or pita bread.
  • Blend blend blend. Make sure to blend until this dip is super smooth and creamy for the best results.
  • Make it ahead. Give the flavors of this dip time to come together by making it a few hours before serving.
