Not only is it packed with flavor, but like my Basil Balsamic Vinaigrette, this sweet dressing is incredibly easy to make. Just a blender and five minutes is all you need! Whip it up and use it on EVERYTHING! From tossing it with salad greens to drizzling it over grilled chicken, you really can’t go wrong.
This Peach Vinaigrette Makes Every Salad Better
Here’s what I love most about this dressing
- Super quick and easy. With just a blender and 5 minutes, you can whip up this flavorful vinaigrette for your favorite summer salad. No complicated steps or fancy ingredients required!
- Sweet and tangy. Between the natural flavor and sweetness of ripe peaches (and a hint of honey), the tang of lemon juice, and the subtle savory notes of salt and pepper, this is an incredibly well-balanced dressing that’s sure to charm your taste buds. I love the bright, citrusy notes of the cilantro too.
- You’ll want to use it on everything. Toss it with salad greens, use it as a marinade, drizzle it over grilled chicken, or use it to elevate your favorite sandwich. This vinaigrette is so versatile and delicious, you’ll be hard pressed to find something you don’t want to pour it all over.
What You’ll Need
You’ll only need a few ingredients for this recipe. Here’s a shopping list for you (see the recipe card below for precise measurements):
- Diced peaches – Aim for small (ish) peaches. They tend to have the best flavor and texture. Nectarines would also do the trick.
- Olive oil – I always go for extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil.
- Lemon juice – Freshly squeezed from the fruit.
- White balsamic vinegar – Apple cider vinegar will also work. So will traditional balsamic (the dressing will just come out on the darker side). White wine vinegar works great too!
- Honey – For a smidge of extra sweetness. Or maple syrup!
- Salt and black pepper – Start with a little and adjust to your preferences.
- Fresh herbs (optional) – If you’d like to add some fresh cilantro or parsley to the mix, go for it. Fresh basil would be amazing too.
How to Make Peach Vinaigrette
Pull out your blender and gather your ingredients. Here’s how to make this glorious summer dressing. You can scroll to the recipe card below for more details.
- Load up the blender. Add all of the ingredients to a high-speed blender (or food processor).

My Pro TipS
Tips for the Best Homemade Dressing
- Fresh produce. This dressing is ALL about the peaches, so make sure you pick quality fruit. If you can pick the peaches from your garden or buy them at a farmers market (in season), do it! The small ones tend to be more flavorful and have a less mealy texture.
- Peel the peaches. Removing the peel is essential for a smoother dressing. The skin can also carry a bit of a bitter taste.
- Taste test. When you make a homemade dressing, taste testing is key! Give it a taste and add more salt, pepper, lemon juice or honey as needed.
- Blend enough (but not too much). You want to blend this dressing to the point of emulsification*, but no more than that. Over-blending can cause the olive oil to turn bitter.
Ways to Use It
This vinaigrette is incredibly versatile. Here are just a few of my favorite ways to use it:
- As a salad dressing. The most obvious way to use this on your favorite green salads! Toss this one with your favorite greens, some chopped veggies, and your favorite toppings (I love adding nuts and seeds to my salads).
- In pasta salad. Looking to add a sweet kick to your pasta salad? Swap out the dressing with this peach dressing. Change it up and use as the dressing for my Easy 4 Ingredient Pasta Salad.
- As a marinade. Gently toss your protein of choice (chicken or salmon would be ideal) with this vinaigrette and a simple seasoning of salt and pepper. Let it sit in the fridge for a time (1-24 hours for chicken and ~15-30 minutes for salmon) before roasting, grilling, or pan frying.
- Drizzled over grilled meat. This dressing is also amazing to drizzle over your favorite protein after it’s been grilled or roasted. Again, I like it with chicken or salmon, but don’t let me hold you back on trying it with grilled steak, pork, or even tofu!
How to Store
- Refrigerator. Seal any leftover dressing in an airtight container (I like storing mine in a mason jar). It will keep in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- Freezer. You can keep leftover peach vinaigrette in an airtight freezer-safe container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Allow it to thaw in the fridge before using it again.
Give your dressing a hefty shake (to reverse any separation) before diving back in.
