My approach to food

As a dietitian, I believe in balance over restriction—meaning you don’t have to eat a “perfect” diet to be healthy. Instead, it’s about finding a way of eating and cooking that works for you; one that feels satisfying, sustainable, and nourishing.
That’s why I focus on:

My story

Healthy eating didn’t always come easy to me! In fact, it’s one of the many reasons I decided to become a Registered Dietitian. I wanted to understand how to feel my best and fuel my body with food I actually enjoyed.

I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Dietetics at the University of Rhode Island and then went on to complete a dietetic internship program to become a Registered Dietitian. My start was actually as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting, working with people from all walks of life and different nutrition struggles.

Now with over 10 years of experience as a dietitian, my message around balanced healthy eating is stronger than ever. Healthy food doesn’t need to be complicated.

I stay up to date on the latest food and nutrition research, trends, and evidence-based advice—so you don’t have to.

Everything I share is backed by science, not fads, and designed to help you make informed, confident food choices (and LOTS of yummy recipes to help).
