1/4cupcreamy peanut butteror peanut butter powder
1/2tspvanilla extract
1/2-1tbspmaple syrupoptional, taste test before freezing
Optional
1scoopvanilla protein powderif you'd like a higher protein option
peanut butter cups, chocolate syrup, whipped cream or melted peanut butter for drizzling.
Instructions
In a mixing bowl or directly in the Ninja Creami pint container, combine milk, pudding mix, peanut butter, vanilla extract (and maple syrup if adding). Whisk vigorously or use an immersion blender to combine the ingredients until smooth.
Freeze the mixture in the pit container for at least 24 hours.
Once frozen, put the pint container into the Ninja Creami machine. Press the "Lite Ice Cream" button.
After the first spin, press the re-spin button two additional times for the creamiest texture.
Add mix-ins if desired and use the "Mix-in" function. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Re-spin. If the ice cream looks crumbly after the first spin, use the Re-Spin function. Lower-fat Ninja Creami recipes often need 2-3 spins to become completely smooth and creamy.
Use creamy peanut butter if possible. Creamy peanut butter creates the smoothest texture, but natural peanut butter can also be used.
Add mix-ins. Mix in chopped peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, or peanuts after spinning using the Mix-in function.
Serve immediately. This recipe tastes best immediately after spinning, when the texture is the creamiest.
