This Ninja Creami strawberry sorbet is made with ripe strawberries, lemon juice, and just enough honey for a smooth, refreshing dessert with bright, fresh strawberry flavor.
Add berries, honey and lemon juice to a high speed blender, blend on high for about 1 minute. Depending on the sweetness of your berries you may need up to 1 additional tbsp, add ½ tbsp at a time to reach desired level of sweetness.
Pour into Ninja Creami pint container. Note:. It should reach just to the max fill line, do not overfill.
Freeze for 24 hours on a level surface.
Place frozen pint container into outer bowl, secure lid. Run sorbet mode x1, then run respin mode x1. If the texture is still crumbly respin a final time.
Notes
Taste the blended mixture before freezing. Start with 1 tablespoon of honey, then add more if your strawberries are tart.
Blend until completely smooth. Any strawberry pieces left in the base can create an icier texture after spinning.
Freeze the pint on a level surface for a full 24 hours before processing.
Re-spin if needed. If the sorbet looks crumbly after the first spin, use the Re-Spin cycle once or twice before adding any liquid.
Fresh strawberries give the brightest flavor, but frozen strawberries work too. Just thaw them enough to blend completely smooth before freezing.
Store leftovers in the Ninja Creami pint and Re-Spin after refreezing for the best texture.
