Cover the bottom of an oven safe skillet or small casserole dish with the cottage cheese mixture. For single servings, split the cottage cheese mixture evenly between 4 small baking dishes.
Next, layer the marinara sauce, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni.
Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Top with extra parmesan cheese and serve with pita chips and sliced bell peppers for dipping!
Notes
Avoid high moisture toppings. Ingredients like mushrooms or tomatoes can release water while baking.
Bake until just heated through. Overbaking can cause the mixture to separate or become watery.
Let it rest before serving. Allow the pizza bowl to sit for a few minutes after baking to help it thicken slightly.
Best served with something crunchy. Try serving with mini peppers, crackers, or pita chips to add texture and mimix that classic pizza texture.
